kcalThis is an exciting spin on your basic quiche. It is super easy because I used a rotisserie chicken from Costco! The spinach, chicken, onion, eggs, and cheese meld together for a savory meal tucked in a crust. Since I am being honest about the chicken, I’ll let you know I also used a prepared crust from the refrigerator section at the grocery store.
Ingredients
1 9 inch unbaked pie crust shell
3 large eggs
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped fresh spinach
1/2 cup diced yellow onion
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp low salt seasoning
1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Whisk together eggs, heavy whipping cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and seasoning salt in a medium bowl until well prepared.
- Fold in cheese, chicken, spinach, and onion.
- Transfer mixture to the pie shell.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Let stand for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.Loading gallery media…
