This recipe has been an easy go to for our family since the 1970’s. It is perfect to take to a pot luck or serve when you have guests for dinner. It always impresses and no one ever believes it is made using a cake mix. I entered this recipe in a County Fair and won 2nd place.
This is a very easy cake for any chocolate lover. I prefer the Ghirardelli brand chocolate but you can use any chocolate you prefer. I find the Ghirardelli brand gives it a richer more gourmet taste. This is a great recipe for any pot luck or dessert when you have company.
