minutesThis is an easy and filling, quick on the way out the door breakfast. It is a great protein for kids and adults alike and not a drippy or messy breakfast treat. From start to finish, done in 30 minutes total. I have made these for breakfast with some fruit on the side or it also make a great addition to a breakfast or brunch buffet.
These muffins can be made with any flavor of sausage. I prefer either the Jimmy Deen maple or hot flavors for additional flavor. You can use cheddar or if you like some heat, grated pepper jack adds a kick. This will be a new family favorite!
Ingredients
1 cup Bisquick
1 pound Cooked Ground Breakfast Sausage
4 Eggs, beaten
1 cup Shredded cheese of your choice
Directions
- Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Spray muffin tins with non-stick spray.
- Beat eggs in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add in Bisquick mix, cooked sausage and cheese. Mix well.
- Fill each muffin tin about 1/2 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Should make 12 muffins.
Notes
- Add diced jalapenos for a spicy version. They can be stored in a baggie overnight in the refrigerator and reheated in the microwave the next day.
